Ormskirk Community Partnership
Last weekend we headed over to Ormskirk Bus Station to meet with the Ormskirk Community Partnership team and one of their Gingerbread models to take some photos with our local service bus.
Our Managing Director Martin Charlton said “it was great to meet with the team from Ormskirk Community Partnership and take some photos with their gingerbread man and our bus. We have been established in Ormskirk since 1997, and after recently winning the tender for the local Ormskirk & Town Green circular, we are keen to get involved with the community partnership team and help promote our great town.”
Ormskirk Community Partnership is a voluntary association which was established as a voice for Ormskirk and seeks to involve local people in what goes on in our town.
Their objectives are:
· To pursue proposals developed through the Ormskirk Market Town Initiative
· To act as a charitable organisation to promote community events, activities, and developments in Ormskirk.
They launched the Ormskirk Gingerbread Project with the help of grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund and hope to create a Gingerbread trail around the town.
